A watching, listening and reading guide through McKenna, Huxley, Bache and IONS, with proposed questions for AkashicOMNI and AkashicPSI.

His work has a recognisable structure: personal transformation, a proposed collective psyche, broader cosmic consciousness and the development he calls the Diamond Soul. His explanation of the Diamond Soul treats multiple lives as contributing to a larger consciousness that may awaken within an embodied person. Deep Time is his interpretation of experiences of life viewed as a whole. Direct interview ↗
He was already persuaded by Ian Stevenson’s reincarnation research before beginning his LSD exploration. In his later response to criticism, he acknowledges that visionary experience is participatory and says his earlier reincarnation concepts were revised. That is a relevant prior commitment, not a verdict for or against the claims. Autobiographical chronology ↗ · His response on conditioning ↗
His June 2026 roll-off essay compares session accounts with astrological transits, acknowledges mismatches and proposes that correspondence weakens at greater experiential depth. It supplies a qualitative hypothesis, not a validated equation-based theory. The mathematical structure of a future test would have to be supplied by operational definitions and independent scoring. Bache: The Roll-Off Hypothesis, 21 June 2026 ↗
He reports 73 sessions across 1979–1999, consistently using 500–600 micrograms of LSD, with a six-year hiatus described in interview. A fixed spacing schedule was not verified. He now discourages repeating the extreme approach and describes substantial integration difficulties. These are historical reports, not dosing guidance. Author’s dose account ↗ · Direct interview on aftermath ↗
IONS’s classroom material describes transformative learning and interprets it through shared fields. The signed essay’s students keeping journals and lingering after class are educational observations; identifying a nonlocal cause would require further controls. High Octane Learning ↗ · The Living Classroom ↗
Separate IONS experiments at Burning Man measured random-generator outputs. Their report describes suggestive combined deviations, while acknowledging varied, not strictly pre-planned analyses, environmental interference and power problems. Those studies are distinct from Bache’s autobiographical work and cannot automatically validate his reincarnation model. Report and limitations, printed pp. 20–21 ↗
A schematic reconstruction from the published accounts reviewed here, not an exhaustive analysis of every session. Lines connect concepts; they do not measure levels, establish mechanisms or give a fixed chronology.
The central proposition is that many lifetimes contribute to a larger consciousness which, in his Diamond Soul interpretation, can awaken within embodied life. Deep Time is his reported experience of a life as a completed whole. Direct interview.
His memoir also moves through personal, collective and archetypal experience toward universal consciousness. Diamond Luminosity is a distinct term in his account; it should not simply be equated with the developing Diamond Soul. The diagram’s facets are a visual metaphor. Publisher’s description and authorised excerpt.
His Future Human includes visions of collective crisis and transformation. These are his interpretations, not established forecasts. Integration brings the discussion back to relationships and care; his own account includes serious difficulty returning to ordinary life. IONS event · Interview on integration.

Fechner connects the effects of a life in others with a proposal of conscious survival. Compare this with Bache’s Diamond Soul while preserving their different philosophical commitments. Relational influence, accurate information, personal identity and development within a larger awareness are separate meanings of continuity. This is an editorial comparison; a direct historical influence has not been established here.

For The Mystery of Continuity, retain the established movement: remembrance → inquiry → responsibility, and the connecting question, “What do we carry forward?” Proposed editorial material for all three chapters is published here for review; existing chapter texts retain their own wording and status. Existing reading room.
Proposed insert: Witnessing without explaining away.
Bache’s account makes suffering central to his understanding of transformation. A compassionate reading can invite us to accompany pain while leaving its ultimate explanation open. His interpretation does not establish that anyone’s loss was chosen, deserved or necessary.
Reflection: What can I offer someone who is grieving without telling them what their experience must mean?
Proposed insert: One life, many lives, a larger learner?
The Diamond Soul reframes reincarnation as development across lives, rather than simple repetition of a personality. Present this as Bache’s philosophical hypothesis alongside memory, imagery, expectation and other possible explanations. Experiencing continuity and independently demonstrating continuity are different questions.
Inquiry: What observation would distinguish personal survival from access to information, narrative construction or ordinary prior exposure?
Proposed insert: Carry care forward.
Whatever our position on rebirth, our actions affect others now. Use the diamond as a metaphor for learning through relationship: intention, impact, accountability and repair. This ethical application is an editorial proposal; it does not depend on accepting a cosmic explanation.
Practice: Choose one helpful action, record its actual consequence and revise it in response to the person affected.
Editorial boundary: compare traditions on their own terms. Bache’s evolving soul model must not be presented as equivalent to Buddhist rebirth, Sikh teachings or a scientific consensus. AkashicOMNI can structure comparison; AkashicPSI cannot convert a meaningful account into an established information-transfer effect.

All seven records are proposed and untested. They are editorial candidates for discussion through AkashicOMNI or AkashicPSI, not adopted additions to either framework. Three separate outcomes matter: practical benefit, checkable information accuracy and a proposed metaphysical explanation. Improvement on one does not establish the others.
The Diamond Soul is currently a broad interpretation. To become a discriminating empirical model it would need to specify what information or identity persists, how that differs from alternatives and what observation would count against it. Feeling that many lives are present is a report to explain, not yet a test of its own source.
Prediction: AkashicOMNI-assisted reviews distinguish supported from unsupported claims more accurately than an equally timed ordinary review.
Draft design: Use a pilot set of 24 short, externally checkable claims, balanced for difficulty and topic. Randomly assign matched claims to a 10-minute ordinary review or a 10-minute DISCERN/DEEPEN review. Keep source access equal and hide condition labels from the outcome scorer. Do not review the same claim twice after seeing its answer.
Outcome: Primary: proportion of correct classifications against a documented answer key. Secondary: confidence calibration and time cost. Define the answer key and handling of genuinely unresolved claims before testing.
What would weaken it: No improvement, reduced accuracy or substantially greater burden counts against usefulness in this setting. A single-person pilot estimates feasibility, not general effectiveness.
Boundary: This tests a review method, not a universal consciousness field.
Prediction: Exposure to a theme increases reports of theme-matching coincidences, without necessarily increasing independently checkable prediction accuracy.
Draft design: Across 14 prespecified days, randomise seven short theme-reading days and seven neutral-reading days. Use the same fixed daily journal window. Preserve original wording, exposure history, all predicted matches and misses. Have a blinded person score the prespecified matching rules.
Outcome: Primary: number of rule-defined matches per fixed observation window. Separately rate felt significance; do not combine significance and factual accuracy into a truth score.
What would weaken it: No difference counts against the specified priming effect; a difference alone can reflect attention, recall and selection. This diary cannot establish that an outside agent arranged events.
Boundary: Dates are recorded prospectively; no retrospective rewriting of predictions.
Prediction: A brief reading-and-reflection routine helps complete a personally chosen, constructive action more consistently than reading alone.
Draft design: Choose one small, observable daily action before starting. Counterbalance two seven-day periods: reading only, and equally timed reading plus a brief action reflection. Log completion, burden and relevant circumstances. Obtain consent if anyone else records outcomes.
Outcome: Primary: completed-action days per period. Secondary: self-rated benefit and effort. Keep these separate from reports of spiritual certainty.
What would weaken it: No improvement or excessive burden counts against the routine for this person. Order and carry-over effects limit causal interpretation; replicate with independent participants before generalising.
Boundary: Tests practical benefit rather than reincarnation or the objective truth of revelations.
Prediction: Locked choices identify an independently generated future target more often than a specified chance model predicts.
Draft design: Draft protocol: 100 trials; one selection among four fixed labels per trial. Record and lock the choice before a separate system generates a fresh, uniform random target. Keep generation, timestamps and all trials auditable. Fix exclusions and feedback timing before beginning; no optional stopping. Future-target generation tests a precognition-style claim; a preselected target would be a different question.
Outcome: K correct of N=100. Under independent uniform targets, K follows Binomial(100, 0.25), with 25 expected hits. For a prespecified one-sided alpha of 0.01, K≥36 gives upper-tail p≈0.009407. This threshold was calculated for this draft, not observed in an experiment.
What would weaken it: Scores below the fixed threshold do not support this prediction at the chosen level. Passing it triggers protocol/error audits and independent replication; it does not identify a source or prove reincarnation. Multiple confirmatory tests require a planned multiplicity rule.
Boundary: No results exist. Target-generator implementation, registration, power analysis and independent oversight are still required. Do not use AI to improvise or grade the random targets.
Prediction: An existing, voluntarily reported historical account contains specific information that matches its claimed target better than matched decoys under blinded scoring.
Draft design: Record the complete original account before searching. Fix a rubric for rare, checkable details and contradictions. An independent researcher documents ordinary exposure and constructs matched decoy biographies. Blinded raters score all candidates. Preserve failed identifications and disputed records. Do not use hypnosis or suggestive prompts to manufacture memories.
Outcome: Primary: preregistered target ranking or fixed detail-score difference, with a defensible decoy-generation model. A general life resemblance is not sufficient.
What would weaken it: Poor ranking, contradictory details, information leakage or dependence on flexible matching weaken the specific case. A successful identification still leaves competing explanations for how information was acquired.
Boundary: No actual person, family or case is identified here. Any human research needs consent and privacy safeguards. Accuracy alone cannot establish that the experiencer was the historical individual.
Prediction: Some reported group similarity is explained by common material and ordinary interaction; any residual inaccessible-information claim needs an additional blinded test.
Draft design: Pilot comparison: consented groups receive either the same passage or different matched passages, and either discuss or write separately. Collect descriptions before feedback. Mask condition labels for raters and control obvious lexical overlap. Register one primary similarity score and label other measures exploratory.
Outcome: Primary: blinded thematic similarity across prespecified conditions. Assess accuracy only in a separate concealed-target task with its own chance model.
What would weaken it: Similarity explained by shared content or conversation supports an ordinary learning account. Residual similarity without inaccessible-information accuracy does not establish a nonlocal group mind.
Boundary: This separates Bache’s group-learning interpretation from a stronger information-transfer claim; neither outcome alone settles his wider ontology.
Prediction: The alleged relationship between astrological transits and experience weakens as independently rated experiential depth increases.
Draft design: Before any test, define a reliable depth scale, one astrological prediction rule and an outcome measure without using the test cases. Use existing dated accounts, blinded coders, shuffled-date controls and an untouched holdout set. Keep any general astrology test separate from a depth-interaction test.
Outcome: A prespecified statistical interaction on held-out data, compared with shuffled dates. A flexible narrative fit does not count.
What would weaken it: No interaction, unreliable depth coding or equal fit for shuffled dates counts against the specified model. A negative result cannot be repaired by redefining depth after inspection.
Boundary: A prospective design proposal only. No drug sessions are proposed. An experience’s intensity does not establish that it occurred beyond spacetime.
These downloads contain templates, not participant data or experimental results. No information is sent to a server.
DISCERN: identify the source, claim type and access limits. DEEPEN: compare alternatives, shared sources, contradictions and failure conditions. Synthesis: preserve meaning and offer a useful next question without upgrading the evidence.
