Project home: AkashicFUTURES · Living Futures Lab. PARAdice is proposed as one project within that existing lab, with ADAPT as its practical foundation. Its role is to explore scenarios, compare assumptions and try small, reversible community experiments.
Projekt Pachamama PARAdice 🎲 proposes a series of magazine-quality explorations of a flourishing Earth: compassionate communities, ecological repair, meaningful work, responsible technology and a culture with space for many kinds of mind. The proposed 2027 date is a creative starting horizon, not a prediction that a transformed world will arrive on schedule.

Make belonging something people can feel.
“PARAdice” brings paradise into conversation with the dice: chance, uncertainty and the choices we can still make. The dice are a creative prompt for exploring alternatives; they do not predict the future or decide how resources should be allocated. “New Earth” describes the future we are imagining together. Neither term requires a supernatural explanation or a single spiritual identity. The project can hold Buddhist-inspired compassion and discernment alongside Sikh seva, local knowledge, secular ethics and scientific inquiry.

A more generous everyday life.
What if flourishing meant that people, other species and the places sustaining them could thrive together? New Earth is the project’s imaginative space for asking that question. It connects inner reflection with the material conditions of life: clean water, nourishing food, secure shelter, care, meaningful participation and ecological renewal.
These are concepts to explore together, with room for different values, local conditions and ways of living. New Earth is an invitation to imagine and test possibilities; the 2027 horizon marks a proposed beginning.
Regeneration and reciprocity
Imagine neighbourhoods that restore habitats, care for water, grow useful plants and make repair ordinary. Ask whose land, knowledge and labour each proposal depends on, and who shares the benefits.
Enough, shared fairly
Explore community food networks, shared tools, resilient homes and accessible services. Make the costs, trade-offs, maintenance and responsibilities visible alongside the dream.
Many minds, real belonging
Design for sensory choice, different communication styles, rest, accessibility and participation without performance. Let people help define what belonging means for them.
Care as everyday infrastructure
Give mutual aid, conflict repair, intergenerational learning and time for care a place in the design. Consider how decisions can be challenged and how people can leave an experiment freely.
Technology with public purpose
Explore tools that support understanding, reduce burdens and remain accountable to the people using them. Include privacy, access, energy use and the option to participate without an app.
Wonder, culture and inner life
Make room for music, contemplation, play and spiritual or secular meaning. Bring Buddhist-inspired compassion and Sikh seva into respectful dialogue with other traditions, without requiring anyone to share a belief.

Choose a face, or use a physical die to introduce an unexpected perspective. Participants may always choose again or pass. Random selection prompts a conversation; evidence and collective judgement guide any action.
Earth
What would this choice change for water, soil, climate and other living beings?

Who can access food, shelter, energy and care—and who might be excluded?
Belonging
How would people with different minds, bodies, resources and backgrounds experience this future?
Power
Who decides, who benefits, who does the work, and how can a decision be challenged?

This is a proposed facilitation method, not a validated assessment instrument. The six faces are perspectives, not scores, forecasts or stages of spiritual development.

PARAdice
Explore how those practical capacities might support lives worth living: connection, beauty, care, creativity and shared flourishing.
PARAdice could follow ADAPT editorially while developing alongside it. It would not replace ADAPT or imply that adaptation work is complete. The existing “Flourishing 2100” vision supplies a distant imaginative horizon; 2027 supplies a nearer opportunity to begin.

The Invitation
What would a place feel like if you did not have to hide the way your mind works? Begin with belonging, curiosity and room to rest.
Water, Food, Shelter
Carry ADAPT into practical questions: local water resilience, food systems, shelter, energy and repair. Connect each proposal to evidence, place and the people affected.
A Commons of Care
Explore shared gardens, accessible gathering spaces, mutual aid and ways to resolve conflict. Compassion becomes visible through everyday arrangements, not only beautiful language.
Many Minds, One Community
Make room for different sensory needs, attention patterns, communication preferences and energy levels. Co-design with participants rather than treating neurodivergence as one experience.
The Dancefloor and the Quiet Garden
Music, play and collective joy sit beside silence, nature and recovery. Participation is optional. An experience of connection can inspire action without proving a theory of consciousness.
Technology in Service
Ask whether AI and shared knowledge tools reduce burdens, support agency and distribute benefits fairly. Make decisions understandable, reversible where possible and accountable.
From Vision to a Small Experiment
Choose one affordable, locally useful pilot. Name an owner, a limited scope, a review date and a way to hear whether people actually found it helpful.
The magazine language
Psychedelic light.
Room to breathe.
The visual direction combines deep indigo, luminous turquoise, magenta and gold with Buddhist-inspired contemplative scenes, living landscapes and faint mycelial backgrounds. Large expressive headings lead into calm, high-contrast reading areas. Sacred imagery should retain its cultural context; it should never become a chart of someone’s spiritual worth.
- Two editions: a responsive web feature and a carefully typeset downloadable PDF near the top of every article.
- Readable by choice: predictable headings, short sections, generous spacing, descriptive links and text alternatives for graphics.
- Sensory agency: no flashing effects or automatic audio. Any future animation should offer pause and respect reduced-motion preferences.
- Honest charts: label measured data, assumptions, scenarios and artwork separately. A glowing diagram is not evidence.
- Participation without pressure: offer quiet, written and asynchronous ways to contribute alongside live conversation and music.

A proportionate beginning
New Earth, Near Home.
The first field note.
The proposed first magazine issue, New Earth, Near Home, could ask: What would a compassionate, neurodivergent-friendly neighbourhood look like? Pair a beautifully illustrated possible day in that neighbourhood with practical questions about water, food, quiet spaces, mutual aid and governance.
A first pilot might be a small listening circle or shared resource map, chosen with participants. Record what was useful, who was left out, what it cost and what should change. Publish lessons only with appropriate consent. The concept does not assume funding, partnerships or a launch commitment.
Explore three possible days
Write three clearly labelled scenarios: a flourishing neighbourhood, an uneven transition, and a community under pressure. Apply all six perspectives to each. Ask what still helps across different conditions.
Try a bounded pilot
As a starting proposal, invite a small voluntary group to map local care, food, repair and quiet-space resources over four weeks. Agree scope and consent first; keep personal addresses private. Review usefulness, access barriers, effort and unintended effects before deciding what comes next.
Proposed outputs: one web feature with a downloadable magazine PDF, a six-perspective conversation sheet, three scenario sketches and a short learning note from any pilot. The illustrated concept PDF is now available above, including the six perspectives, three scenario sketches and a proposed four-week pilot. The pilot and any resulting learning note remain proposals.
Working sequence: curate the source material; select one story; create its web and PDF editions; invite feedback; choose a bounded pilot. The next creative decision is the first issue’s focus, not the scale of a future civilisation.
