AkashicNET is designed as a public knowledge space, not a system for profiling visitors. This notice describes the data pathways used to deliver the site, measure aggregate traffic, load optional media and answer email and contact-form enquiries.
Current practice
The public site does not provide visitor accounts, public comments or uploads. The separate Members’ Forum requires authorised access. Email links open your own email application. Contact and translation-request forms use a protected inbox with seven-day expiry.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate visits, referrals and performance. AkashicNET does not use advertising analytics, cross-site profiles or analytics cookies and does not use traffic data to infer beliefs, health, identity or the truth of evidence claims.
Hosting and security services may process IP address, time, requested URL, browser or device details and operational logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie when its bot protection requires one.
YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts and Mixcloud players remain inactive until you choose to load one. That choice is made for the selected player only and is not stored as a permanent site-wide consent.
The Psy-Nation portal counter deduplicates an action in page memory only. It stores aggregate episode, action, day and approximate-country totals, but not IP addresses, cookies or listener identities.
The language selector, automatic language switching and Google Translate links are temporarily switched off. Existing translated pages remain available through their direct addresses. Previously saved language preferences may remain on this device for up to 180 days from selection, but are not used while switching is paused. No Google translation script loads on AkashicNET.
The optional Field Notes tool stores saved notes and an unfinished draft in this browser’s local storage on the device. The tool has no account sync or notes upload endpoint. JSON backups are read and merged locally when you choose to restore them. Clearing browser data or storage eviction can remove notes; exported files are saved wherever you choose. Use a private device and export a backup regularly.
The optional personal session shortlist is stored in this browser’s local storage. It has no account sync or upload endpoint and can be lost if browser data is cleared. It is separate from Field Notes and the organisers’ official programme.

Legal bases
Site delivery, security, limited aggregate measurement and correspondence are processed for legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Pre-contract enquiries may rely on Article 6(1)(b), and legal retention duties on Article 6(1)(c). Optional external players load only after your action, based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG where applicable.
Services and recipients
Site delivery: OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure deliver and protect the public portal. Public media files may also be delivered from AkashicNET's GitHub-hosted media origin.
Direct email: Messages sent to support@akashicnet.org are received and stored through Apple iCloud Mail. They are separate from contact-form submissions and are retained only while the enquiry is handled or where legal, accounting, security or dispute records require longer retention.
Optional media: YouTube/Google, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts or Mixcloud receive a request only after you activate their player. Their own privacy terms then apply.
External support: Buy Me a Coffee is an independent destination. AkashicNET does not receive payment-card details from the public website.
International processing: Some providers operate outside Germany or the EEA. Transfers are governed by the provider's applicable contractual and statutory safeguards. Visitors may use ordinary external links instead of loading an embedded player.
The contact form asks for your email address and message; name and subject are optional. The TSC2026 Commons question form uses the same protected inbox, with a fixed subject and no name field. These messages are used to handle your enquiry, not for marketing or automatic publication. A short anonymous excerpt appears in the Commons gallery only if you separately approve its exact proposed wording and AkashicNET reviews it. You can ask us to remove it through the contact address below. No phone number or attachment is requested.
A translation request includes the public page path, requested language and any optional notes. Its reply email is optional: you may request a translation without giving an email address. The same purpose and retention rules apply.
OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure process the submission and store it in a protected AkashicNET owner inbox. An owner-authorised OpenAI assistant checks this inbox to prepare a daily review digest. The digest is sent through Google Gmail to the owner’s support mailbox and contains counts and review links, not message contents, names or sender addresses.
The application stores the submitted email address, optional name and subject, message, submission time and a seven-day expiry time. Expired messages are removed when the owner inbox is next opened or another contact form is submitted; they may remain in storage between expiry and that cleanup. It does not intentionally store the visitor’s IP address or log message content. A shared hourly submission counter controls abuse without identifying individual visitors.
The owner may mark a message addressed or reopen it. This stores the message identifier and addressed time without extending its expiry. This inbox is access-controlled, not an end-to-end encrypted messaging service.
Unsent text stays in the open page and is not saved to browser storage. If delivery cannot be confirmed, it remains in the form for you to retry or copy. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.
Retention
AkashicNET does not keep identifiable analytics profiles. Aggregate radio totals remain as non-identity statistics. Email is retained while a request is handled and, where necessary, for legal, accounting, security or dispute records. Infrastructure providers apply their own operational and security retention schedules.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for the future. You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority; the competent authority in Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision.
Your choices
Optional players remain blocked until you press their clearly labelled load or play control. Reloading or leaving the page disconnects the selected embed; the site does not remember that media choice across visits.
Security cookies used by the delivery network are limited to protecting and operating the requested service. AkashicNET does not use advertising cookies.
Email sent to the support address is handled by the sender's email service and Apple iCloud Mail. It is not subject to the contact form's seven-day expiry and cleanup process. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or private medical records.
Publication boundary
Public pages may be cached, indexed or archived. Personal information, participant material, quotations and case details are not intended for public release without separate consent, provenance, rights and harm review. Anonymisation alone is not treated as permission to publish.
