Trained in IT and data science, I began finding what felt like golden nuggets in the haystack: patterns, experiences and questions I couldn’t readily explain through the materialist, reductionist frameworks I knew. Not yet.

As a deeply focused, sometimes obsessive IT nerd, I now recognise how narrow my attention could become. I was good at examining the detail; I’m learning to notice the wider picture, too. That is a reflection on my own experience, with plenty still to learn.

A dance-floor detour · Boom 2018

At the opening of the Dance Temple at Boom in 2018, after taking a macrodose of LSD, I remember feeling overpowered by the psytrance music. At the time, I believed some of my neural pathways were “blocked”. That was my interpretation of an intense experience, not something established by a neurological assessment.

What felt like “bad synchronicity” also led to a memorable encounter with two couples who told me they had holidayed with Albert Hofmann. An unexpected plot twist in the personal story, perhaps. I leave the question mark on synchronicity: the encounter mattered to me without establishing that it was cosmically arranged.

For me, that is an invitation to explore with boundless awareness, grounded wisdom and passionate curiosity. To follow the evidence, question my own assumptions and leave room for what we have yet to understand.

Full disclosure: the pattern-finder is also part of the experiment. A compelling connection may be a clue, a coincidence or a bias. An unanswered question does not, by itself, establish a spiritual explanation.

Creating AkashicNET sparked my interest in attending TSC 2026, but a particular experience helped turn that interest into a decision.

While watching Helané Wahbeh’s presentation in a free IONS webinar, after using some medically prescribed cannabis, I experienced powerful chills that I describe as “kundalini chills.” Her presentation resonated deeply with me and strengthened my desire to explore consciousness and channeling.

I see this as a meaningful personal experience, while remaining open about its explanation. It is part of why I am here: to listen, ask questions, and explore what research can tell us.
