Find the study. Keep its provenance. Follow the question without deciding the answer in advance.

A doorway into research
The Consciousness Library, a Mindscape Collective project, connects readers with research on consciousness, psychedelics, meditation and dreaming. AkashicNET attributes the discovery route and verifies selected citations at their original publications or scholarly indexes.
Its methods distinguish bibliographic information from AI-extracted study details and automated syntheses. The syntheses are not individually reviewed by humans. We do not import those syntheses or treat their ratings as AkashicNET conclusions.
This pathway extends the existing research source guide. The examples below add discovery provenance to two works already in the GitHub research record and stage one further study for review. They do not change BQ conclusions or count repeated records as independent evidence.
What dates are actually verified?
Observed records include 1913 and 2026; the complete catalogue range remains unverified. The year controls accept 1900–2027, which describes the interface rather than the holdings.
Online publication, issue dates, corrections and database updates can differ. We retain them separately in the download. Undated and pre-1900 holdings and complete pagination have not been audited. Changing article totals are not used as fixed statistics.
Three useful connections to the Big Questions
A small, purposefully selected reading set, not a systematic review. BQ001 and BQ002 retain their existing research records. BQ003 remains a review candidate in GitHub.
Multicentre prospective observational study. 2060 cardiac-arrest events; 140 first-stage and 101 second-stage interviews. Relevant to how experience reports can be tested during resuscitation.
Limits
Survivor selection and retrospective recall limit timing inferences. Cardiac arrest during attempted resuscitation is not irreversible death.
Question connection
Reuse the existing BQ001 baseline and its limitations; the discovery link adds no independent study.
Review depth
PubMed bibliographic record and author abstract checked; existing canonical assessment retained. Crossref request rate-limited; no successful Crossref check claimed.
Meta-analysis. 16 studies and 45 effects associate learning-related dream content with post-sleep memory performance.
Limits
Association does not establish causation or explain all thought. Sleep-stage differences are preliminary and should not be inferred simply from different subgroup significance.
Question connection
Reuse the existing BQ002 review candidate as a bounded memory-related route into thought content.
Review depth
Crossref metadata plus the author abstract and Comment-in relation via Europe PMC checked; full-text and raw-data appraisal remain pending.
Ashar et al. · Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience
Design and scope
Three-arm randomised trial with longitudinal fMRI. 57 adults; four weeks of compassion meditation compared with a familiarity control and a placebo framed as oxytocin.
Limits
The medial orbitofrontal result survived correction versus familiarity; the placebo comparison was reported only at an uncorrected threshold. Small sample and short follow-up limit generalisation.
Question connection
Candidate for personal regulation and neural mechanisms of compassion. Does not test a cosmic love field, nonlocal access or survival.
Review depth
Publisher bibliographic information and abstract, Crossref version relation, and full erratum text checked; full-paper critical appraisal and independent replication review pending.
Correction retained: a 2021 erratum corrects the title from “other” to “others”. It states no results correction. Its related preprint is the same research lineage, not an independent replication.
Keep three origins distinct
Discovery: the exact Consciousness Library article link.
Metadata verification: Crossref, PubMed or Europe PMC, with checked dates and unresolved differences.
Scientific evidence: the original publication, its methods, corrections and limitations.
The library lists PubMed, Europe PMC, OpenAlex, Crossref, Semantic Scholar, Scopus, Springer Nature, DOAJ and several preprint servers as upstream sources; trial records come from ClinicalTrials.gov. A platform-wide list does not identify which provider supplied an individual record. Those unknown origins remain unassigned.
Study designs, sample sizes and topic labels aid discovery but need checking. Citation counts and multiple database appearances do not create additional independent studies.
Rights, corrections and review
The platform terms retain rights in its original content. No bulk-export permission or open licence for its summaries has been verified. This update contains links, bibliographic facts and original review notes. It includes no copied abstracts, full texts, figures or AI study summaries.
For a library error, use its contact page or email admin@consciousnesslibrary.org with the affected URL. For an AkashicNET correction, report the source, DOI and proposed change. We retain the original identity and revision trail; a human review is required before changing an evidence assessment.
A concrete check: the compassion paper has a verified erratum even though its Crossref record returned no update relation. An empty warning field cannot establish that no correction exists.
