From Stand Conversations to Checkable Questions
Three distinct frameworks offer opportunities for careful inquiry. These are preparations for conversation, not reports of meetings, agreed collaborations or validated theories.
Independent conversation starter. AI-generated conceptual artwork; no partnership or software validation is implied.
Thomas Campbell / My Big TOE
The author’s experimental programme discusses a simulation account and the distinction between detection and information available to an observer.
Ask: For one experiment, what numerical outcome differs from a specified comparison model, and what result would make you revise the account?
Possible contribution: connect a claim to its source, operational definitions, protocol, alternatives and eventual results.
Cosmointel describes consciousness as distinct from matter, energy and information. Its research interests span brain activity, cells, microorganisms, plants and materials.
Ask: Which study should we begin with? Are its methods and raw data available, and has an independent group replicated the finding?
Possible contribution: examine one selected study, including exposure definitions, blinding, sham controls and alternative explanations.
Donald Hoffman / Recursive Trace Logic
His conference abstract models observers using Markov matrices and proposes links between a recursive trace operation, spacetime and artificial intelligence.
Ask: Which results are established within the mathematics, and which physical predictions could distinguish the model from alternatives?
Session: Thursday 15 October, 11:10 am–12:30 pm PDT, Paradise Ballroom, shared with Jonathan Schooler. Individual start time is not listed.
Cosmointel: A Starting Point for Inquiry
Summary of the organisation’s stated concepts and interests. The illustrated connections are artistic metaphors. No specific study or treatment efficacy has been evaluated here.
Mohammad Ali Taheri: The Person Behind Cosmointel
Cosmointel’s founder biography identifies Taheri as the founder of both Cosmointel and Erfan-e Halgheh, a spiritual movement. It places his birth in Kermanshah, Iran, in 1956 and describes engineering and astronomy interests followed by a spiritual turning point in 1978. That origin story is the organisation’s account.
AI-generated symbolic biography artwork, not a portrait or a depiction of actual belongings or locations. Biography and rights advocacy do not establish the scientific validity of T-consciousness fields.
What We Can Integrate
Insights: similar language about consciousness can conceal different assumptions. Preserve each framework’s definitions.
Intelligence: compare explanations, predictions, controls and conditions for revision.
Knowledge: retain the original source, attribution, date, scope and evidence class for every claim.
Wisdom: listen respectfully, welcome correction and let compassion guide conduct. Ethical commitments and physical explanations answer different questions.
AkashicOMNI application: DISCERN the question, sources and assumptions; DEEPEN through contrasting explanations and disconfirming evidence; report the synthesis with uncertainty intact. This is a manual, human-reviewed use of the public method, not a new software release or effectiveness validation.
A Small First Contribution
Select one claim with a willing research team. Record its source, operational definitions, comparison model, predicted outcome, controls, data access, analysis plan, revision condition and replication status. Ask permission before attributing unpublished comments. No team, dataset or partnership is assumed to be available.
Open questions: which study or derivation should be examined first; which materials can be shared; and who can check whether we have represented the work accurately?
Bounded review of public webpages and a conference abstract, checked 13 October 2026. No raw-data audit, full mathematical review, experiment or automated model comparison was performed. Established-evidence labels and promotion controls are unchanged.
My TSC2026 Journey · Personal Purpose & Citizen Science
Spiritual Citizen Data Science
Rooted in shamanic practice. Guided by Bodhisattva vows. Bringing inquiry back into service.
By u/NeuronsToNirvana · 8 October 2026 · Approximately 3 minutes · Independent conference journal
My personal lens, not an official conference position. Symbolic AI-assisted artwork, not a depiction of established consciousness mechanisms.
For me, The Science of Consciousness conference is a journey in spiritual citizen data science: listening, asking better questions, following sources and bringing useful knowledge back to a shared public commons.
“Spiritual” describes my motivation and practice. “Citizen data science” describes my contribution through careful observation, source curation and reviewable records. Neither replaces a research method, independent scrutiny or the freedom to reach an unexpected conclusion.
Awaken Within. Serve Without.
My shamanic practice and Bodhisattva vows are an ethical compass: to learn, deepen compassion, reduce suffering where I can, and let understanding become service. This is my personal commitment, not a claim to represent Buddhist or Indigenous traditions.
AkashicNET’s central purpose is to connect science, consciousness, contemplative wisdom and lived experience in a living knowledge commons, with care for one another and the living Earth. The aim is to help people discover, compare and question knowledge, while preserving its sources, context and uncertainty.
The question I want to keep bringing back is: who might benefit from what we learn, and how can we put it into practice with care?
What That Means At The Conference
Listen and document: keep dated notes, link talks to their abstracts and primary sources, and distinguish what I observed from what someone reported.
Separate claim types: lived experience, interpretation, research evidence, hypotheses and speculation remain visibly distinct.
Seek what could change my mind: ask about methods, limitations, alternative explanations and findings that challenge an appealing idea.
Share responsibly: respect consent, privacy and cultural context; invite corrections and return useful learning to the community.
These are commitments for the journey, not claims of completed fieldwork. This journal is not a registered study. A formal participant study would need defined methods, informed consent and any required ethics review.
Open Questions, Practical Care
Death, continuity, mysticism and psychic experience are themes to explore. Their appearance in a conference programme is an invitation to examine the work, not confirmation of a particular explanation.
HIERATIC Book II: The Mystery of Continuity and its Day Of The Dead Trilogy are one developing expression of that inquiry. The wider mission is not simply to publish a book, but to make knowledge more useful, accountable and compassionate.
What continues remains a question. How we care begins here and now.
New illustrated proposal · 9 October 2026
Akashic Symbiosis: Let’s Build Together
A human-directed, AI-assisted invitation for the consciousness mini-hackathon. People bring questions, lived experience and judgment; AI helps organise sources and build; collaborators challenge and improve the result.
Our proposed first build is an Evidence Jigsaw: three source-linked claim cards, competing explanations and visible missing evidence. Explore four possible contributions, an existing Thinking Space worksheet, five concept illustrations and a full disclosure of how the page was created.
This is a working proposal seeking collaborators. Entry rules and any additional Discord terms remain unverified; no accepted entry or organiser endorsement is claimed.

New project ideas · Details checked 9 October 2026
Join the Consciousness Mini-Hackathon
No separate hackathon registration is required. Drop in at the back of Sunset Ballroom Zone B (IV–V), Paradise Point, San Diego, during the 11–16 October conference. Facilitators will be present.
When: the informal build space is available throughout the conference, between sessions and in the evening, except Monday–Thursday, 5:00–7:05 pm PDT (12–15 October), when concurrent presentations use the room. All times are San Diego local time.
Coordinate: join the conference Discord, then open #tsc-hackathon to share an idea, find collaborators or check arrangements. Bring a laptop, usable data and your own AI subscription.
What could we build together? An Evidence Jigsaw, improvements to Thinking Space, a consciousness vocabulary bridge or a source-aware conference notebook. Each proposal has a small first demo, useful collaborator roles and a way to check the result.
AkashicNET and Thinking Space are independent projects, not conference-organiser tools. No organiser affiliation or endorsement is implied. Check the official instructions and Discord for changes.

Connecting Consciousness Knowledge
The idea is simple: make it easier to explore what people are learning about consciousness — our awareness, thoughts and experiences. Useful material is scattered across research papers, reference websites and communities. AkashicNET could help people find their way through it, with clear links to the original sources and honest explanations of what remains uncertain.
Our report compares six related websites and looks at their connections to past Science of Consciousness conferences. The clearest links involve the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). Other connections are through individual speakers or contributors. These overlaps offer starting points for conversations; they do not mean the organisations are partners.
For TSC2026, the proposal is to start small: a shared reading list with links, short summaries and notes about the strengths and limits of each study. Scientific findings, personal experiences and philosophical ideas would be clearly labelled. We would respect each source’s permissions. This is an independent idea to discuss at the conference, rather than an accepted conference presentation.

Meet AkashicNET
Connecting Research. Developing Better Questions.
AkashicNET is an independent research and exploration project with a growing Living Library, building towards a living knowledge commons: a shared space where scientific work, contemplative traditions, lived experience and open questions can be explored, connected and revisited with care. Its aim is to help people find useful connections, compare explanations and develop questions worth investigating, while making the evidence and uncertainty clear.
Living means revisiting material as evidence, interpretations and community needs develop. Commons describes the goal of shared stewardship, with clear contribution rules, attribution, traceable corrections and appropriate access. Community governance remains a development goal. Source permissions and privacy must be respected, and established findings, interpretations, lived experience, hypotheses and speculation kept distinguishable.
AkashicNET could be a catalyst for love, peace and a flourishing humanity in harmony with Pachamama by connecting knowledge with compassion. Sharing stories across cultures, exploring evidence honestly and encouraging respectful dialogue could help people understand one another and turn that understanding into kindness, community support and care for the living Earth. ♾️💗🌍
At TSC2026, that means linking research to related topics in AkashicNET and the curated NeuronsToNirvana archive, with AI-assisted analysis and source checking. A thematic connection is a starting point for inquiry, not confirmation of a theory.
HOMESENSE enriches what AkashicOMNI considers; AkashicOMNI helps examine, organise and apply those contributions. Together, they support the vision of a library that grows through inquiry, reflection and revision, with future community stewardship helping shape its direction.
Have a public paper, DOI or conference abstract you would like me to explore? Send the link and one question you are working on. I can review it alongside available AkashicNET material and NeuronsToNirvana topic metadata to look for related work, competing interpretations and possible questions for further investigation.
This is independent, AI-assisted exploratory analysis. Potential connections need checking against original sources; it is not peer review or a promise of novel findings. Availability will depend on conference commitments.
Please send public links rather than confidential manuscripts or participant data. Sending a link does not grant permission to reproduce your work or imply endorsement.
Research Analysis Guidelines · Scope, evidence and open questions
Include your question, what you want to understand or decide, and the topics, time period and constraints that matter. The following guidelines set the intended approach; each analysis will report which steps were completed and what remains unexamined.
Define the question. Identify assumptions and ambiguities without adopting a preferred explanation as the conclusion.
Compare relevant frameworks. Explain which disciplines and frameworks are included, why they matter and significant exclusions. Give each attention proportional to its relevance and evidence, rather than treating all explanations as equally supported.
Trace the sources. Search available AkashicNET GitHub metadata and relevant NeuronsToNirvana material, then consult original sources and external primary research. Distinguish metadata inspected from full content actually read, report access limitations and avoid implying exhaustive coverage.
Label the evidence. Separate established findings, preliminary or contested findings, interpretations, lived experience or testimony, and hypotheses or speculation.
Assess major claims. Provide supporting sources, evidence quality, limitations, contrary evidence and plausible alternative explanations. Distinguish independent evidence from repeated citations of the same underlying source.
Connect carefully. Identify connections across disciplines while distinguishing analogy, correlation, proposed mechanism and demonstrated causation.
Make explanations testable. Explain which observations or experiments would distinguish competing explanations and what would change the assessment.
Check framing sensitivity. Where feasible, test whether supportive, sceptical or neutral wording changes the framing. Report only sensitivity actually tested; label untested concerns as possible limitations.
Present an inspectable analysis. Include a concise answer, framework comparison, claim-and-evidence table, important uncertainties and missing evidence, prioritised next research steps, and sources examined with search coverage.
Numbers need a basis. Define denominators and distinguish unique sources, records and duplicates. Do not invent confidence percentages or fill gaps with plausible-sounding claims.
Depth has limits. When full coverage is impractical, prioritise the most consequential questions and state what remains unexamined. An unresolved conclusion is a valid outcome.
